ROOMS AT LAINSTON HOUSE
The Cosy rooms come complete with everything guests could need for a comfortable and relaxing night away. These beautifully appointed bedrooms include a small double bed with handmade mattress, ensuite bathroom and well stocked tea and coffee making facilities.
All the Smart bedrooms are not only beautifully decorated and feature breathable hand-finished duvets, but they're also complete with a walk-in shower and a bath. There's underfloor heating, a work desk and seating area too so guests won't be left wanting for space.
The modern and stylish Plush bedrooms are located in the main house at Lainston and have stunning views of the Avenue from a balcony. The bathrooms also feature either a spa bath big enough for two or rain bar shower so it's perfect for a sneaky weekend away.
Traditional Junior suites
Exceptional amenities, outstanding comforts and a restful seating and dining area. The Junior Suites, are all unique and can be found tucked away in the fishing wing and stable area. There's a large bedroom and sizeable bathroom with a rain bar shower and either a roll top or spa bath.
Four Poster suites
As the name suggests, these opulent rooms feature a handcarved four poster bed. There's also a seating and dining area within not to mention spectacular bathrooms with either a roll top or Jacuzzi bath. No two rooms are the same making the Four Poster Suite perfect for a romantic getaway.
Because families should be able to enjoy a little bit of luxury too, these Family Junior Suites are vast, open plan rooms with two queen size double beds featuring handmade mattresses top guarantee a good night's sleep. There's plenty of room to relax and lots of space to play family board games. The large bathrooms feature rain bar showers and either a roll top or spa bath.
Located in the Loggia in the original house’s garden room on the ground floor is the Chapel Suite, which is the epitome of luxury. It overlooks the ruins of the 12th Century St Peter's Chapel and has access to a private terrace. It also boasts a separate lounge to bedroom area and Jacuzzi bath. Pure luxury.
Garden is a ground floor suite complete with a private terrace, that unsurprisingly overlooks the beautiful gardens, croquet lawn and chapel. The original master bedroom to the original main house overlooking the stunning Avenue of Limes, this sumptuous suite still contains original and unique Delft tiles in the fireplace and bathroom areas. The ceilings are high, the windows are large, the bed is King size and the coffee machine is Nespresso. Classic country house luxury.
Located in the main house, Wolvesey is another original main house bedroom suite that includes a separate lounge with a dining area, and bedroom with views overlooking both the Avenue of Limes and the wedding pavilion. There's an abundance of space and the suite comes complete with a king size bed, roll top bath, and a steam and shower room making it the popular choice with honeymooners.

Taking its name from the magnificent mile-long avenue of lime trees as viewed from your table, the award-winning Avenue restaurant in Winchester is an intimate, elegant restaurant for lunch or dinner, enjoying the most beautiful of settings. Herbs and vegetables on the menu are delivered freshly each day from the secretly walled Kitchen Garden, hidden in the grounds of the 17th Century Lainston mansion. The four acre garden provides 90% of the kitchen's herbs as well as crops of tomatoes, salad, cucumber, courgette, carrots, onions, runner beans, lavender, apples, pears, figs, quince, rhubarb, kiwi, strawberries, raspberries and a variety of heritage veg too so guests really will be sampling the freshest of foods.

SEASON, the Exclusive Cookery School is located in a beautiful converted well house set within the grounds of Lainston House, just a stone’s throw from Winchester in Hampshire.
